On Tuesday, November 19, the internet giant announced its picks for Google Play's Best Titles and Apps of 2024 in India, highlighting the fact that five of the seven titles on the list were created by Indian entrepreneurs.This year, the AI-powered fashion stylist app won the Google Play Store's "Best for Fun" award. Alle, an AI chatbot service that provides "expert fashion advice," was established in 2023 by two former Meesho employees. The app allows users to buy clothing from a variety of merchants and brands. It also has a virtual try-on feature, which allows customers to see how the costume fits them before making a purchase.
Prateek Agarwal, Alle's co-founder and CEO, expressed gratitude for the app's selection as the Best App in India, saying, "Our next big goal is to make Alle the ultimate destination for discovering and shopping the latest fashion trends." In the midst of the surge in AI-powered mobile applications, Sensor Tower discovers that Indian users downloaded 21% of all AI mobile apps from the Google Play Store this year. Google stated, using Access Partnership figures, that "nearly 1,000 apps and games in the country incorporate AI, and many of these solutions come from Indian developers who are also embracing this technology."This year, Google Play named Meta-owned WhatsApp the "Best Multi-Device App" in India, but apps developed by AI behemoths such as OpenAI and Perplexity were left off the list. Sony LIV was named the "Best App for Large Screens" because it delivers "a high-quality, immersive viewing experience across larger screen devices like tablets."

Roby John, SuperGaming's co-founder and CEO, said, "Our team spent more than three years crafting Indus, with detailed characters, environments, and innovative gameplay features like our alternate win condition called 'Cosmium' and our unique 'Grudge' revenge system."
