Apple co-operates with SpaceX and T-mobile for Starlink satellite connectivity on Iphones:

Starlink's Direct to Cell service will be available to Iphone users in the United States in the near future. Apple is collaborating with Tesla, SpaceX, and wireless network operator Mobile to enable Starlink Network in the latest Iphone software version. Apple has refrained from officially confirming the development. " Apple quietly adds Starlink to Iphones in iOS 18.3." Basic internet tasks can be managed by the current Starlink system, but video streaming cannot be very smooth yet, there will be significantly improved capabilities with the next satellite batch.

The present configuration of Starlink's direct-to-phone constellation will support medium resolution images, music, and audio podcasts and smooth video will be supported by the next generation constellation. Discussing Starlink's Direct-to-Cell, the functionally enables easy integration with current LTE phones withoutout requiring extra hardware, firmfare upgrades, or specialized apps. 

T-Mobile launched a limited beta program, welcoming some Iphone customers to try the Starlink integration. The beta is currently available only on Iphone 14 and newer models, with expansion plans to more customers and ultimately other nations. The collaboration serves to point out Apple's dedication to driving more connectivity and offering innovative solutions for its customers.

Apple, T-Mobile , and SpaceX have been conducting tests on iphones using the Starlink cell network on a trial basis. Currently these companies are testing "text via satellite" using Starlink's features, but they also intend to launch voice calling and data services through satellite within the next few months.
