As firms seek to balance security concerns and possibilities in their AI strategy, more than 81 percent of senior business leaders polled have asked for a more "global" set of AI norms and standards.
According to Tata Consultancy Services' Global AI Study, more than 86% of senior business leaders have already employed AI to improve or create new revenue streams.
The study sample includes more than 1,300 CEOs and other senior executives from 12 industries and 24 countries. Half of the firms earned between $1 billion and $5 billion every year, with the other half earning more than $5 billion.
Currently, the majority of firms employ AI to assist customers. K Krithivasan, the chairman and CEO of TCS, "as AI develops, we will see it used more and more to enhance human activities and eventually transform businesses by elevating human thinking with the ability to ideate based on machine output." According to the survey, the majority of CEOs believe that human creativity or strategic thinking will make a significant difference in the industry during the next three to five years.
