WhatsApp Web is finalising a feature that lets users search images from Google in reverse Here's how:

Incorrect information is being spread through many groups, whatsapp is now launching a reverse image search function. Some of the social images can be validate with Google by users without downloading.

Moreover, there are the new features that were recently execute in WhatsApp application: the possibilty to scan document within the application in case of using the iOS. WhatsApp is planning on trying to fighting increasing fake news with its latest change reverse image search. This new feature was first observed on WhatsApp Andriod beta application and now it's seems to be active in WhatsApp Web Beta as well, accrording to WABeta info.
It seems that, it is express  that an add on of features in WhatsApp will now enable people to identify and authenticate an image that has been forwarded to them using Google's help. 

The new feature would in an ideal world give assistance to the users understand whether they shared image has been modify with operate or taken out of context. The good bit here is that users are not forced to download the image on their desktop and what app will also provide a shortcut to launch the reverse image search process from the web app. Once, the uses clicks on the option to serach for the image in web, WhatsApp will upload the said image to Google with the user's permission, and then open the default browser to begin the reverse image search function. But in the whole reverse image search process it is going to be managed by Google and contents of the image will not be known to WhatsApp.
